The SuiteSpot App offers a streamlined way to view and order from a customized event day menu, tailored specifically to the event and suite they are attending. This menu is designed to enhance the event experience by providing quick and convenient access to available items, prices, and exclusive offerings.
What is an Event Day Menu?
The event day menu is a dynamic, real-time menu tailored for the specific event you’re attending. It includes:
- Items specific to the event and suite you’ve booked.
- Special offerings or limited-time items available only during the event.
- Prices and availability that are updated live, ensuring you always see the latest information.
How to use the Event Day Menu?
For Guests,
- Guests can scan the QR code and login to the app by providing their Mobile Number and Name, Group Code (optional) in the beginning access.
- When guests subsequently access the app using a QR code, it automatically selects the correct event and suite for you.
- Browse the event day menu for snacks, drinks, and quick-service items by clicking on "New Order".
- Add items to your order and proceed to checkout.
- For your first order, you’ll need to enter your card details for payment.
- After the first order, the app securely saves the card details. For subsequent orders during the same event, simply select the saved card without re-entering the payment information.
For Suite Owners,
- If you’re a Suite Owner using the SuiteSpot App on the event day, you can access the event day menu directly and place orders for your suite.
Items on the menu update in real time. If an item sells out or becomes unavailable, the menu reflects this immediately.
Items on the event day menu are designed for quick preparation and delivery, making it ideal for busy event schedules, with price specific to the event day.
Printing Kitchen Receipts for Event Day Orders in SuiteSpot
SuiteSpot supports direct printing of kitchen receipts for event day orders, ensuring fast and accurate processing of food and beverage orders. This feature enables orders to be automatically routed to the kitchen printer, allowing kitchen staff to prepare meals without delays.
Kitchen Printer Setup:
- Venue managers can configure kitchen printers through the Restaurant Console (Create a Printer Category from Settings and assign it to items).
- Printers can be assigned by suite or event, ensuring orders reach the right kitchen stations.
- Multiple printers can be set up for different food categories (e.g., drinks, appetizers, main courses).
Automatic Order Routing:
- When a guest places an event day order via QR code or suite-attendant input, it is instantly sent to the designated kitchen printer(s).
- If multiple printers are configured, the order is split by category and sent to the appropriate kitchen section.
Kitchen Receipt Format:
Each printed receipt will include:
- Order ID
- Suite Number
- Event Name & Time
- Item Names & Quantities
- Special Instructions (if any)
Integration with POS and Kitchen Systems:
- The event day menu is fully integrated with the venue’s POS system.
- Once an order is placed, it is automatically sent to the kitchen via Kitchen Display System (KDS) or printed tickets.
- This ensures real-time processing and minimizes delays.
