Device Activation
1) After hardware setup, activate the Clover device for use with the Lightspeed Retail POS.
Locate your activation email and make note of the activation code.
The email is sent to the Lightspeed Retail account’s Business Owner email address.
2) On the Clover device, select your language and tap ‘Set Language’.
3) Tap 'Configure' to set up the device over your wireless network.
4) Select the Wi-fi network.
5) Enter the password for the network, then tap 'Connect'. 6) Enter the 8 digit activation code from step 1.
7) Set a 4 or 6 digit passcode and tap ‘Set Passcode’.
This is code used to unlock the device when rebooted, wake it from sleep mode, or to exit the Network Pay Display app.
8) Enter the passcode again, then tap 'Confirm'.
9) Wait for the default apps to download and install.
10)Tap 'Print Test Receipt' to print a test receipt. Tap 'Continue'.
11) Customize the passcode setting (optional) and tap ‘Continue’ to go to the Home screen.
With Lightspeed Retail, you do not need to change the tip and signature setting. Tip and signature preferences are controlled using the preferences in receipt settings.
Install Secure Network Pay Display
1) From the Home screen, open the ‘More Tools’ app.
2) Tap the magnifying glass.
3)Searchfor ‘NetworkPayDisplay’ OR ‘SecureNetworkPayDisplay’ andtaptoselect it.
4) Tap ‘Connect’, then ‘Connect’ again to confirm.
5) Tap ‘Download’ to begin downloading and installing the app.
6) Once finished installing, tap ‘Open’ to launch Secure Network Pay Display.
7) In the Secure Network Pay Display app, tap 'Start'.
8) Review how to exit the app and tap 'Got it'.
Network Pay Display SetUP
1) On the Home screen, open the Network Pay Display app.
2) In the Network Pay Display app, tap 'Start'.
3) Review how to exit the Network Pay Display app and tap 'Got it'.
