Setup Modifiers

Modifiers allow you to customize orders and provide options for your customers to select variations.

Follow the instructions below to create modifiers :

Step 1: Create a Modifier Item.

1. Navigate to the Products page
2. Click on the Add product icon (basket) at the bottom of the screen.
3. Enter the details of the product, click on ‘Add Additional fields’ to view more.
4. Click on Item Type and select the ‘Modifier” option.
5. Click ‘Add Product’ to save.

Step 2: Setup Modifier Configuration

1. Go to the products page and search for the modifier item.
2. Click on the 3 dots on the product icon to view more options.
3. Select ‘Modifier Config’
4. Add Options by entering ;

Option Name: Enter a name for the option. Ex: Sides, Extras, Add Ons, Drinks…

Option Type: Select the option type from the drop-down box. There are 4 option types available ;

Single Select: This allows you to select only one particular option at a time from the option list.

Multiple Select: This allows users to select multiple items from the option list.

Button: This creates options as buttons.

Text Box: This creates options as a text box.

1. Do not Preselect Default Value: Check the box if you don't want to pre-select the default option.
2. Required: Check the box for mandatory option selection.
3. Click on ‘Add Optional Value’ to add option value.
4. Enter the Price for the modifier option.
5. Click on the ‘Def’ button if you want to pre-select the particular option as default.
6. Delete button to remove option value from the list.

                       

Modifier Items

Modifier Groups

Modifier Groups contain a set of modifier options that can be assigned to multiple items which help to customize your menu to your restaurant's specifications. This is useful if you create a new product and want to assign it to a pre-existing modifier group.

To assign a modifier group,

1. Swipe the navigation and access Products
2. Select the product --> Edit Product --> Edit Modifiers
3. Click on the 'link +' button and the modifiers --> Assign Modifiers

To unmap a modifier from an item, long-press the modifier option button and click Yes.
