Stripe Terminal Integration on 6ixPOS

6ixPOS now supports semi-integration with Stripe Payment Terminals, enabling seamless in-store payment experiences through devices like the BBPOS WisePOS E. This integration provides a wide range of payment capabilities designed to support real-world retail operations, including wallet payments, refunds, tipping, and more.

6ixPOS app communicates with Stripe's hardware-based terminals via the Stripe Terminal SDK, while payment data is handled securely by Stripe.

With Stripe terminals integrated into 6ixPOS, users can use the POS to accept card & wallet payments through stripe terminals, process refunds, split payments etc.

The integration is designed to deliver:

• A secure, end-to-end payment experience with Stripe Terminals.
• Smooth handling of advanced use cases such as wallet transactions, partial refunds, and split payments.
• Offline functionality with automatic sync and payment session recovery.
• Integrated tipping and gift card top-up options.
• Accurate reconciliation and reporting of all Stripe transactions.

With Stripe terminals integrated into 6ixPOS, you can now:

• Accept In-Person Payments: Process chip, swipe, and contactless (NFC) card payments using Stripe-approved terminals.

• Support Wallet Payments: Enable mobile wallet options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

• Handle Refunds: Issue full or partial refunds directly back to the original payment method.

• Split Payments: Allow customers to pay using multiple payment methods (e.g., two cards).
