How to do a Sales Transaction with Item Level Variable Discount in 6IX POS?
Follow the steps below to perform a transaction.
Step 1: Adding Items to Cart
Users can add items to the cart by simply clicking on the item from the ‘All Items ‘ list or Quick Picks on the transaction screen or Click on the ‘Barcode icon’ on the screen to scan the items to be sold and add them to the cart. Users can also search for the items by clicking on the ‘Search icon’ and add them to the cart.
Step 2: Click on the ‘eye button’ at the bottom of the screen to view the cart details.
Step 3: Click on the 3 dots at the top of the screen to view More Options → Apply Discount → Select the variable price discount (Discount Percentage set to 0) from the dropdown box → Enter the desired discount percentage → Click Apply.
Step 4: Click again on the ‘cart amount button’ to proceed further which leads to a tender selection screen.
Step 5 : From the Tender selection screen, select an option to process the transaction.
Step 6 : Click on ‘Proceed to Check out.
Step 7 : Click on ‘Start a New Sale’ to exit the screen and start a new sale.

Step 4: Click again on the ‘cart amount button’ to proceed further which leads to a tender selection screen.
Step 5 : From the Tender selection screen, select an option to process the transaction.
