Message Broadcast

Overview

This feature allows a user to send a message to a specific terminal or to all terminals in a specific store, venue or enterprise. the message is displayed on the POS until the acknowledged by the user. It can be used to broadcast information about specials, price changes or other specific instructions.

Details

 

User selects store and venue, then types a message to broadcast to the entire store/venue.

Access

Access to this function at an enterprise level is limited by default to the System Administrator and Financial users only. Accounting, store managers, warehouse general managers as well as zone managers and human resource managers may modify broadcast settings at Venues or Store assigned to them.
