Overview
Go to Management --> Hierarchy --> Modify Hierarchy
This is used to modify any of the hierarchy settings. The enterprise hierarchy consists of all venues, warehouses, zones, stores (including virtual stores), registers, and reporting groups. This is also where you would be able to assign an administrative employee to each enterprise.
Select the Type of hierarchy that is to be modified, the list will include all that has been created from the venue, warehouse, store, virtual store, registers, and reporting group. This will return the appropriate list of items. Select the hierarchy to be modified and click Find.
This will navigate you to a screen similar to the screens used for creating the hierarchies. After all the changes have been made, select Modify to save the changes.
Note: Stores cannot be moved from one venue to another

Access
Access to this function at an enterprise level is limited by default to the System Administrator and Financial users only. Store managers and zone managers may modify hierarchy settings at Venues or Stores assigned to them.
Modify Hierarchy Settings
In order to assign an Administrative Employee to an enterprise (store, venue, warehouse, zone) you will need to select Management, Hierarchy, Modify Hierarchy. There will be a drop-down menu from which you may select any of the above-mentioned enterprises for which you would like an Administrative Employee to be assigned. Select the enterprise you would like to assign your manager to and then click find. This will bring up a page that shows you the information about that particular enterprise. In the top section of this page, you will see a drop-down menu for Administrative Employee. This is where all of your managers will show up and you may select your desired manager.
Your managers will not be able to view reports on CAS without being assigned to an enterprise so please be sure to perform the above-mentioned operation if you would like your Administrative Employee to have access.
