FreedomPay in 6ixPOS

FreedomPay is a secure payment gateway that enables seamless processing of credit, debit card, gift card transactions through certified payment devices. It supports real-time authorization, offline transaction handling (store & forward), and centralized device management.

Within retailcloud, FreedomPay is used to:

• Process in-store payments through integrated payment terminals
• Support secure and compliant transactions
• Enable device-level configuration and monitoring
• Provide enterprise-grade payment reliability

Step 1: Connect the Payment Processor from POS

Navigate to Configuration → Payments → Payment Processor → FreedomPay 

Device Types:

1. USB (default)
2. Bluetooth

Configuration Options:

1. Replay All:
   Reprocesses all offline (store & forward) transactions once connectivity is restored.
2. Maintenance:
   Used for device diagnostics and operational utilities.
3. AMA PAL:
   Used for device and configuration updates.

Workflow:

1. Connect the payment device
2. Add items to cart
3. Select payment tender
4. Complete transaction via device

Note: Castle FreedomPay Device supports Givex Gift Card and Givex Tender.
