retailcloud system is now integrated with Fortress Payments. You can securely process transactions in real time on retailcloud POS.

Now you can pay via Fortress wallets at the POS end using our  6IX POS application.

Getting Started

Configurations on POS

1. Login to POS
2. Click on the menu icon from the home screen, Configurations→ Payment→ Tender Settings
3. Navigate to Fortress and check the box to start accepting Fortress payments.

Sales Transaction using Fortress

1. 1. Go to the home screen and add items to the cart.
   2. Navigate to the tender bar and select the Fortress Tender Button.

1. 1. Scan your QR Code/barcode and just manually enter the member code manually on the search field.
   2. Click on the Search button. (Magnifier Glass)

1. 1. Once processed it will fetch the member details such as Member ID, Member Name, and Promotions if any and Loaded values(Balance Amount) will be displayed.
   2. Click on the button to process the payment.
   3. Proceed with Submit Payment and finish the sale.

Fortress Discounts Based on Account Settings

Determine where and how discounts should be applied, either at the POS level or at the Fortress level, depending on the specific account settings. This ensures that discounts are applied in accordance with the customer's preferences.

 They can configure this preference at their account level. If they choose to turn off automatic discounts at the account level, it means that discounts will not be applied automatically when they make a purchase.

Fortress Voucher Redemptions

Voucher redemption allows customers to apply physical vouchers for specific SKUs during a sale. POS ensures that the voucher is SKU-specific and that voucher details are communicated back to Fortress for tracking purposes.

Workflow:

Vouchers are used to issue item-level discounts, most commonly 100% discounts.

• The user will begin the standard checkout process and checkout using Fortress Tender Type
• On Tender Selection the customer will be required to scan their memberID
• POS will utilize MemberID to return available discounts, vouchers, and stored value associated with the scanned customer
• Vouchers will need to be shown only if the items in the cart are eligible for the voucher
  • Fortress will return eligible vouchers for items not in the cart along with items not in retailcloud. Those vouchers will not be displayed in the POS UI
  • Eligibility should be determined based on the ItemID’s in the cart
