Getting Started
- Login to Console
- Navigate to Settings → Integration → Fortress
- In the Fortress Setup section, you will find the below input fields for the required connection details.
- Register ID
- API Base URL
- Username
- Password
- Once you have entered all the necessary details, click the "Connect" button. The console will attempt to connect to Fortress using the provided information.
- If the connection is successful, you will see a confirmation message that the connection has been established.
- Clicking on the "Disconnect" button, the console will disconnect from Venuetize. If the disconnection is successful, you will see a confirmation message that the connection has been disconnected.

Support for Multiple Registers
Now console enables users to effortlessly connect multiple registers, streamlining simultaneous management. A grid displays connected registers, featuring details like Register ID and Connection Status, allowing users to disconnect registers seamlessly. The grid incorporates a search function for swift register retrieval, while a dedicated button facilitates the addition of new registers using pre-configured credentials.
Fortress Discounts Based on Account Settings
Determine where and how discounts should be applied, either at the POS level or at the Fortress level, depending on the specific account settings. This ensures that discounts are applied in accordance with the customer's preferences.
They can configure this preference at their account level. If they choose to turn off automatic discounts at the account level, it means that discounts will not be applied automatically when they make a purchase.
If you have a POS-level fortress discount to be configured,
Navigate to Settings → Integration → Fortress → Choose the discounts available from the dropdown.
Manual Discount
Users have the ability to manually apply discounts for Fortress customers on the Point of Sale (POS) system. By selecting the manual discount option triggers a dropdown menu displaying all active discounts.
This functionality ensures that if a merchant opts for manual discounting, the discount calculation will be performed from the POS side rather than relying on the default Fortress-side calculation. Additionally, Fortress users retain the flexibility to enable or disable this manual discounting feature at their account level.
