Go to Reports --> Custom Reports
The Sales Tax Report is a custom report that provides a summary of sales tax information for a particular venue or store. It includes various fields that capture essential details related to sales tax calculations and transactions.
The console provides the ability to download the report data to a flat file on your local file system. This function currently supports the CSV file format, which presents the report data as fields separated by commas (,).
Downloading the Report
Click on the report and the date range, and you can download the whole report in a CSV.
Note: Currently, you can only generate reports for up to 100 days.
The Sales Tax Report includes the following fields:
- Venue: This field indicates the venue where the sales transactions took place.
- Store: This field specifies the name of the store associated with the sales transactions. It helps identify the specific retail establishment or business involved.
- Tax Description: This field provides a brief description of the type of tax being applied. (Tax Name)
- Tax Rate: This field indicates the rate at which the sales tax is applied to the taxable items. It represents the percentage of the tax.
- No. of Items: This field represents the total number of items or products sold during the specified period. It helps track the volume of sales and determine the taxable amount.
- Net Sales: This field denotes the total sales revenue generated from the transactions. It includes the price of the items before the application of sales tax.
- Tax: This field indicates the calculated sales tax amount for the corresponding period. It represents the actual tax liability resulting from the sales transactions.
By analyzing the Sales Tax Report, businesses can assess their tax obligations, track sales performance, and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
