Sales By Tax Report

Go to Reports --> Custom Reports

The Sales By Tax Report is a custom report that provides a summary of sales data categorized by tax types.

The console provides the ability to download the report data to a flat file on your local file system. This function currently supports the CSV file format, which presents the report data as fields separated by commas (,).

Downloading the Report

Click on the report and the date range, and you can download the whole report in a CSV.

Note: Currently, you can only generate reports for up to 100 days. 

This report includes the following fields:

• Venue Name: The name of the sales venue.
• Tax Description: A description or name of the specific tax applied to the sales.
• No. of Items: The total number of items or products sold that are subject to the particular tax.
• Net Sales: The total amount of sales revenue generated from the items, excluding the tax amount.
• Tax: The tax rate for the specific tax.

This report helps businesses analyze sales performance and tax collection by providing insights into the tax breakdown for different products or services sold at various venues.
