Fixed Price Discount

Fixed Price Discount allows to apply a fixed price discount on individual items based on their selling price. The discount will be determined by a fixed price for an item, and any additional items will be sold at their regular price.

How to create a Fixed Price Discount?

Login to Console.

Go to Settings → General Settings → Promotions → Add Discount

Create the discount, name the discount, specify the Discount Type as 'Fixed Price Discount', Discount Amount, Date range, and Save.

This discount will not get applied if the selling price is greater than the configured discount amount.

How does it work on POS?

Example: An employee wants to apply a fixed price discount for a customer's purchase of an item with a selling price of $100.

The employee selects the $10 fixed price option for the item, and the POS system verifies that the selling price of the item is not greater than $10. The system then applies a discount of $90, resulting in a discounted selling price of $10 for the item. The system records the discount amount of $90 and the item that received the discount in the item transaction history.
