Automatic Rule-Based Entitlement is a powerful feature that enables merchants to automate actions based on specific triggers within the system. This functionality allows users to set up rules that execute actions when certain conditions are met, such as item updates or creation.
Creating a Rule
- Log in to Console
- Navigate to Settings → Utilities →Rule Based Automation → Create Rule
- Specify the conditions that must be met for the rule to be triggered.
- For example:
- Trigger: Item created/modified under a department AND/OR under a brand.
- Action: Entitle the item to a specific location.
- Set up the actions that the system should perform when the specified trigger conditions are met.
- Select the entitlement record modification or any other desired action to be executed.
- Review the rule configuration.
- Click "Create" to add the new rule.
