How to Reassign a Register?

Objective:

To reassign a register using the ZeroPOS/6IX POS system.

Prerequisites:

  • Access to the ZeroPOS/6IX POS system.
  • User credentials with financial user privileges or above.
  • Knowledge of the company code and register ID.

Steps:

  1. Access Settings:
    • Click on the "Settings" option on the desktop
  2. Enter Password:
    • Input the system password. The password can be either "pax9876@@" or "9876" depending on your system configuration.
  3. Navigate to Apps:
    • Once in the settings menu, locate and click on the "Apps" section.
  4. Select Zero/6ix POS:
    • Within the Apps section, find and select the Zero/6ix POS application.
  5. Access Storage:
    • Within the Zero/6ix POS settings, locate and click on the "Storage" option.
  6. Clear Data:
    • In the Storage menu, select the option to "Clear Data." This action will reset the POS system data.
  7. Return to Main Screen:
    • After clearing the data, navigate back to the main screen of the POS system.
  8. Access Zero/6ix POS:
    • Click on the Zero/6ix POS application icon to launch it again.
  9. Select Register:
    • Within the Zero/6ix POS application, locate and click on the "Register" option.
  10. Enter User Credentials:
    • Input your Username and Password. Note that the user must have financial user privileges or above to access this feature.
  11. Enter Company Code:
    • Input your Company Code where prompted.
  12. Input Register ID:
    • Enter the Register ID you wish to set up. This ID can typically be found in the console under Settings > Register.
  13. Confirm and Save:
    • Once all necessary information is entered, confirm the details and save the changes and the register will begin installing
  14. Verify Reassignment:
    • After completing the process, verify that the register has been successfully reassigned and you can log in and process a transaction successfully.
