The “Employee Login with Barcode PIN Scanning option is designed to streamline the login process, reduce manual input errors, and enhance user convenience and efficiency.

• Accelerated Login Process: Scanning a barcode speeds up the login process, especially for complex PINs.
• Enhanced Security: Disabling manual keyboard input prevents unauthorized PIN entry and input errors.

Using the Barcode PIN Scanning Feature

Step 1: Activate the Login Screen

When you approach the POS system, ensure the login screen is activated. The cursor will automatically focus on the PIN field, ready for input.

Step 2: Prepare Your Barcode

Ensure you have your barcode containing your PIN ready for scanning.

Step 3: Scan the Barcode

1. Position the Barcode Scanner: Place the barcode in front of the scanner.

2. Scan the Barcode: Allow the scanner to read the barcode. The POS will automatically populate the PIN field with the scanned PIN.

Step 4: Login Completion

Once the barcode is scanned and the PIN field is populated:

1. The system will process the PIN.
2. If the PIN is correct, you will be logged into the POS system automatically.
