Summary Projects

Follow

The Summary Projects feature in the i360 Pro app provides merchants with a consolidated view of inventory counts by combining multiple cycle count projects. This feature is especially useful for analyzing inventory across multiple locations or summarizing related counts.

Overview

The Summary Projects section follows a structure similar to Cycle Counts. By default, it displays all summary projects completed in the last 30 days. Users can customize their view using the date filter and status filter.

Grid Information

The Summary Projects grid provides key details for each project, including:

  • Project Name
  • Date
  • Status
  • User (who created the summary project)
  • Total Scans
  • Final Adjusted Quantity
  • Expected Quantity (based on the selected source)
  • Progress Bar (visual representation of project completion)

How to Create

  1. Assign a Name: Try to give the summary project a meaningful and unique name for easy identification.
  2. Select Cycle Counts: Choose two or more cycle counts to combine.
  3. Set the Expected Count Source:
    • Choose a Single Source: Select the expected quantity from one of the cycle counts to ensure accurate data.
    • Select All: Combine expected quantities from all selected cycle counts. This is ideal for counts across multiple locations.

Note: If multiple cycle counts are from the same location, selecting "All" will add the expected quantities from each count together. Use this option carefully to avoid duplication.

Using the Summary Project View

Once created, a summary project can be analyzed in the same way as individual cycle counts:

The summary projects can also be grouped by Attributes or Items, allowing users to analyze combined data more effectively. Grouping by attributes organizes the data based on selected criteria such as department, category, or vendor, while grouping by items provides a detailed breakdown of individual SKUs across all included cycle counts.

  • Scanned Count: The total number of items scanned.
  • Adjusted Count: The number of items adjusted after verification, this is an editable field where users can adjust the values manually.
  • Expected Count: The originally expected count of items.
  • Variance (Count): Difference between the scanned and expected counts.
  • Scanned Cost: Cost based on the scanned count.
  • Adjusted Cost: Cost after adjustments.
  • Expected Cost: Cost based on the expected count.
  • Variance (Cost): Cost difference between scanned and expected counts

In Summary Projects, if you select a specific item, you can view how the quantity for that individual item is composed from the different locations included in the project. This allows merchants to break down the total quantity and see how each location contributed to the overall count, providing a clearer understanding of inventory across multiple sites.

This unified view helps merchants:

  • Simplify Inventory Analysis: Consolidate data from multiple cycle counts into a single view.
  • Identify Trends: Spot patterns or issues across multiple locations or projects.
  • Save Time: Avoid manually reconciling data from separate counts.

Users can choose View Projects to see all the cycle counts involved in that project
