Shopify Product Level Sellout % Import

Follow

The Shopify Sell-Out % shows how much of a product’s initial inventory has been sold within a certain timeframe, allowing retailers to easily understand product demand and sales performance. It’s calculated by dividing the number of items sold by the total items initially stocked, then multiplying by 100 to get a percentage.

For instance, if a retailer starts with 100 units of a product and sells 60 units, the sell-out percentage is 60%. This metric helps Shopify users see which products are popular, make informed restocking decisions, and manage promotional strategies. High sell-out percentages indicate strong demand and can guide future inventory planning, while low percentages might suggest a need to adjust pricing or promotions.
