Overview

The Sales By Employee feature in retailcloud empowers businesses to track sales performance across their team members. By understanding the individual contributions of each employee, users can make data-driven decisions to enhance sales strategies, improve training programs, and reward top performers.

Accessing the Sales By Employee Report

  1. Navigate to the Reports section in the main menu.

  2. Select Sales By Employee from the available report types.


Features of the Report

Filter Options

Tailor the report to your needs:

  • Time Frame: Daily, weekly, monthly, or custom date ranges.

  • Group by: Employee or Sales Person
  • Employee Selection: Focus on specific individuals or the entire team.

  • Event Selection: Filter the report to analyze employee performance based on specific events.

     
     

Metrics Included

The Below details are displayed against the events handled by each employee, offering insights into their individual contributions and performance.

  1. Employee Name: Name of the employee.
  2. Store: Name of the store where the transactions occurred.
  3. Venue: Name of the venue associated with the transaction.
  4. Event: Name of the event linked to the sales data.
  5. Item ID: Unique identifier of the item.
  6. UPC: Universal Product Code of the item.
  7. Item Name: Name of the item sold or returned.
  8. Cost Price: Cost price of the item.
  9. Selling Price: Selling price of the item.
  10. Team: Team associated with the item or employee.
  11. Total Hours Worked: Total number of hours worked by the employee.
  12. Transactions: The total number of sales transactions processed by the employee.
  13. Discount Transactions: The number of transactions involving discounts.
  14. Refund Transactions: The number of refunded transactions.
  15. Units Sold: Total number of units sold by the employee (calculated when they are logged into the POS).
  16. UPT (Units Per Transaction): The average number of units sold per transaction.
  17. Units Returned: Total number of units returned by the employee.
  18. Transaction Amount: Total sales amount handled by the employee.
  19. ADS (Average Sales per Day): Calculated as Total Sales ÷ Number of Days.
  20. Discount Amount: The difference between the original retail price and the discounted price.
  21. Refund Amount: Total amount refunded, including sales tax.

This detailed breakdown allows users to monitor and analyze employee performance and transaction data efficiently.
