YinzCam Integration in Console

The YinzCam loyalty integration allows merchants to accept YinzCam discounts, stored value, or both directly through supported retailcloud platforms. This feature streamlines checkout by applying eligible loyalty rewards and balances to customer purchases.

Supported in: Kiosk, 6ixPOS, ZeroPOS, Servio.

Navigate to Settings → Integration → YinzCam

Merchants can setup their YinzCam account by providing the following details:

• API Based URL
• Username
• Password
• App ID
• Venue
• Payment Methods:

  • Discounts only

  • Stored Value only

  • Both Discounts and Stored Value

• Click on Connect

Merchants can associate distinct YinzCam accounts with individual venues, enabling better customization and control. Offers flexibility for managing loyalty setups specific to each location, ensuring accurate processing of loyalty discounts or stored value payments.

• If a venue is specified in the setup, the YinzCam account is applied only to that venue.
• If no venue is specified, the account is considered global and applies to all venues under the domain.
• Selecting a specific venue restricts the account to that venue.
• Selecting “All” makes the account accessible across all venues under the domain.
• When a POS requests loyalty details:
• The system first checks for a YinzCam configuration tied to the venue.
• If no venue-specific configuration exists, it will fall back to the domain-level (global) configuration.

This flexibility ensures the loyalty setup aligns with the merchant's promotional and payment strategies.

A YinzCam button will appear during checkout, prompting the user to scan their member barcode (QR Code). If the stored value fully covers the amount, the transaction completes. If the stored value is insufficient, the system redirects to the Split Payment screen for the customer to complete the payment using another method.

With the YinzCam integration, retailers can now offer customers:

• Automatic discount application

• Use of stored loyalty value at checkout

• Support for split payments and partial refunds

This integration enhances the checkout experience, improves loyalty program participation, and simplifies payment handling across multiple retailcloud platforms.
