Merchants can now offer shopping bags as an optional, chargeable item during checkout. This feature allows you to define pricing, control tax behavior, and manage discount eligibility — all from within the Console.
Settings → Shopping Bag Configuration
1. Enable Shopping Bag Prompt
Toggle this setting on to prompt customers to select the number of shopping bags they need during checkout.
Once enabled, the prompt will appear before payment on supported platforms like 6IX Kiosk, Zero POS, and Kiosk POS.
2. Price per Bag
Enter the amount to charge per shopping bag.
The total bag cost will be added to the transaction based on the customer’s selected quantity.
3. Disable Discount on Bag Item
By default, discounts do not apply to shopping bag items.
This ensures the fee is always applied as configured, regardless of promotional offers.
Transaction-level discounts will also not apply to the shopping bag item.

The shopping bag is treated like a regular item in the order.

After selecting bags, customers will be directed to the donation screen, if donation settings are enabled.
