The Exchange Summary Report is a newly introduced custom report available in the Console. This report helps users track exchange transactions by summarizing key data such as the associated sale and refund details, transaction amounts, and the locations involved. Giving insights into how exchanges are being handled across stores and venues within a selected time period.
Navigate to Custom Reports → Exchange Summary Report
Filter Options
Before generating the report, you can apply the following filters:
Date & Time Range Picker: Select a custom date and time range (across a 2-month span) to focus your report data.
Venue Dropdown: Choose the desired venue to load store and register options.
Store Dropdown
Register Dropdown
Email Address Field: Enter the email address where you'd like to receive the exported report.
Exporting the Report
Click the Export button once your filters are set. The system will process your request and deliver a downloadable report to the provided email address.
Report Contents
The exported file will include the following details for each exchange transaction:
Exchange Transaction #
Sale Transaction # (linked to the original sale)
Refund Transaction # (linked to the refunded item)
Sales Amount
Refund Amount
Exchange Time
Venue
Store
Register
Each entry will show how the exchange transaction maps to its internal sale and refund transactions, making it easy to reconcile data.
