The Inventory History Balance Report offers a consolidated view of all key inventory movements—such as receivings, transfers, and adjustments—within your operation. This report helps users track item-level activity over time, making it easier to monitor stock levels, analyze movement patterns, and audit inventory changes.

Navigate to Reports Inventory Reports → Inventory History Report

Report Fields

The Inventory History Balance Report includes the following data columns:

  • Item ID: Unique identifier for the item

  • UPC: Main UPC code associated with the item

  • Additional UPCs: Any extra UPCs configured for the item
  • Product ID: Internal product identifier
  • Department: Department the item belongs to
  • Category: Primary category classification
  • Subcategory: Subcategory classification
  • Size: Size attribute of the item
  • Color: Color attribute of the item
  • Brand: Brand name
  • Team: Associated team or organization (if applicable)
  • Vendor: Supplier of the item
  • Transaction Date: Date of the inventory transaction
  • Transaction Number: Unique reference for the transaction
  • Transaction Type: Type of inventory operation (Receiving, Adjustment, Transfer)
  • Movement Type: The movement between store and warehouse (S, W, S-S, S-W etc.)
  • Source: Origin location for inventory operation
  • Destination: Target location for inventory operation
  • Qty: Quantity moved in the transaction
  • Status: Current status of the transaction (Open, Close, or Error)
