What is a General Item?
Users have a General Item available. It is most often used for items that are being sold that are not tagged yet or haven't been entered into the system yet.
You can also use the general item if you are not ready to enter in your inventory items yet and just need to track sales.
The General Item calculator is available on the ZeroPOS from the upper left corner.
You can enter the Item Price and quantity, if you wish to exempt tax for the general item you can use the check box. When adding the item, it will show a pop-up that allows you to enter a custom name(optional) for the items if required. This name will be printing on the transaction receipt to provide customers with information about the type of item they were charged for.
