The QR Code Receipt feature provides customers with a fast and convenient way to access their digital receipts without requiring a printed receipt or entering an email address or phone number during checkout.
When enabled, ZeroPOS displays a unique QR Code immediately after a transaction is completed. Customers can simply scan the QR Code using their mobile device to view a mobile-friendly digital receipt.
This feature is ideal for mobile checkout environments, line-busting, pop-up stores, and locations where printers may not be available.
Configuration
A new setting, Enable QR Code Receipts, is available in Console → POS Configuration.
- Enabled: Displays a QR Code receipt screen after each completed transaction.
- Disabled (Default): Continues using the existing receipt workflow, including print, email, and SMS options.
How It Works
After a transaction is completed, ZeroPOS displays a receipt screen containing a QR Code along with a "Scan to View Receipt" message.
When the customer scans the QR Code:
- A secure receipt URL opens on their mobile device.
- The digital receipt displays all transaction details.
- Speeds up the checkout experience by eliminating the need to collect customer contact information.
