Overview
The Item Price Lookup report allows merchants to retrieve the historical selling price of items for a specific date. This makes it easy to validate past pricing, review price changes, and communicate historical pricing information without manually searching through item history.
The report is available under Reports → Custom Reports and generates a CSV file that can be emailed to one or more recipients.
How It Works
To generate the report, select a reporting Date and optionally filter the results by:
- Team
- Department
- Category
- Subcategory
You can also enter one or multiple email addresses to receive the generated report in CSV format.
The report displays the selling price that was effective on the selected date for all matching items.
Report Contents
The exported report includes historical pricing information along with item details such as:
- Date
- Item ID
- Item Description
- Product ID
- Product Name
- Team
- Department
- Category
- Subcategory
- Retail Price
The report includes all matching items, even if their selling price did not change on the selected date. If an item's selling price was updated multiple times on the same day, the report will display the latest price recorded for that day.
