The Console portal gives merchants total control over what access to grant any user. You can easily define security privileges for your employees who use your system.

This feature lets you give or take specific permissions for individual users without changing all of the permissions or changing their roles. This lets you assign high-trust employees additional tasks without giving them all manager permissions.

To review and edit permissions enabled for user roles, follow the steps below:

  2. All available user roles will be listed here. Click on a particular role, which will take you to the Permission page.2022-03-09_15_08_51-retailcloud_console.png
  3. When you click on a user name you will see a list of permissions for that user. Permissions are defined with a toggle ON/OFF, a toggle ON giving the role access to action, and a toggle OFF denying them access. 
  4. To change a user’s permission from the default click one of the toggles. The default setting is indicated with a grey toggle bar. Grey means the permission is disabled, Blue means it’s enabled.

Any changes you make on this screen will be saved automatically and come into effect the next time the user signs into the pos.
