An inventory aging report provides key metrics on how quickly your inventory moves. It’s essentially a list of the items on hand grouped by the length of time in inventory. This identifies slow-moving or obsolete inventory that needs to be revalued in order to correctly calculate your cost of goods sold and using the aging report is the easiest way to do it. It can also help reduce your cost of storing inventory by providing information on what inventory to buy.
Navigate to Reports → Inventory Reports → Aging Report
The report shows the stock report on the basis of ranges as 0-30 days, 30-60 days, 60-90 days, and 90-120 days.
The above report includes each product listed on the left and the number of units in inventory grouped in 30-day increments. According to this report, all inventory items have been sitting in inventory for less than 30 days as of 12/5/15 as indicated by the first column.
Advanced Filters
Advanced filters let users filter the report by Venue, Store, or Warehouse by selecting the appropriate drop-down.
Any combination of filters can be used to return desired results. The user then clicks the Filter button and is given a report.
