Invoice Creation & Payments through POS

With the Invoice  add-on feature, you can maximize productivity by creating invoices on the POS to take payments faster. Users have the option to create, view, and collect payments from customers. All Unpaid (Open) & Overdue invoices will be visible at the POS.

To have this feature enabled on your account, simply contact support@retailcloud.com. Once enabled, you will see a new tender button at the POS that says “Invoice” and "Invoice Payments" under Settings. Follow the steps below to efficiently use this feature:

Creating Invoice from POS

  1. Login to ZeroPOS
  2. Navigate to the Transactions Cart 
  3. Attach the customer with the transaction
  4. Populate the cart with the items

  6. Input the Invoice Name & Email address
  7. Choose the desired method to handle the invoice
    • Process & Make Payment: Automatically directs users to the Invoice Payment page and initiates payment processing.
    • Process Invoice: Generate the invoice in the background and once the customer is ready to make the payment, users can navigate to the Invoice Payment section.Screenshot 2024-05-07 at 4.27.22 PM.png

Accepting Payments from POS

Navigate to the Transaction tab and click on the Menu icon from the home screen → Select ‘Invoice Payments  Screenshot

The Invoice page appears with the list of all Open & Overdue Invoices.

  • Open: Invoice is generated but payment is pending but within the payment due date.
  • Overdue: Payment is pending beyond the payment due date.

Users can search for invoices by providing details in the search field, such as Invoice Name, Number, and Transaction Number.

Select the invoice you wish to pay for, you will be directed to the invoice details page where you can complete the payment process.

From the bottom of the screen, click on the PROCESS PAYMENT button and select any available option to process the payment:

  • Cash
  • Credit
  • Debit
  • Gift
  • Check
