FanMaker Integration on ZeroPOS

retailcloud system is now integrated with FanMaker Payments. You can securely process transactions in real-time on retailcloud POS.

Now you can pay via FanMaker wallets at the POS end using our ZeroPOS application.

Getting Started

Configurations on POS

  1. Login to POS
  2. Click on the menu icon from the home screen, Configuration→ Payment→ Settings.
  3. Navigate to FanMaker and check the Accept Type box and Save to start accepting FanMaker payments

Sales Transaction using FanMaker

  1. Go to the Transactions tab and add items to the cart.
  2. Navigate to the tender bar and select the FanMaker Tender Button.Screenshot_2023-04-06_at_10.57.03_PM.png
  3. Scan your QR Code/barcode and just manually enter the member code on the search field.

  5. Once processed it will fetch the details like discounts if applicable and Stored values(Balance Amount) will be displayed.

  7. Proceed with Submit Payment and finish the sale.

Refund Transaction using FanMaker

Processing a refund with Verified Refunds Enabled:

  1. On the sales transaction screen, Press the RETURN button at the top of the screen.
  2. Scan the barcode on the bottom of the receipt, into the box. If a receipt is not present, you will need to enter the transaction # (2023/X/X/XXX).
  3. The transaction # may also be available from the drop-down if sold at the same store. A transaction number is required to process a refund.
  4. Once the transaction number is entered, click on the Force Return check box, and you will have the question, are you returning all items (No/Ignore/Return Payment).
  5. If Return Payment is selected, all items from the receipt are placed in the cart to return (you can delete any from the cart that is not being returned)
  6. If No, the cart will not be populated and you will need to enter the items from the original transaction in the sales cart.
  7. Completing the return: Select tender type FanMaker. The amount will be credited back to the original card used.

FanMaker Discount Support with Stored Value Transactions

We’ve introduced improvements to ensure FanMaker discounts are fully supported across different payment scenarios on your POS devices. Now if FanMaker discounts are applied along with FanMaker stored value, the discounts will be reflected correctly.

  • FanMaker discounts will now always be captured and reported correctly, even when the customer pays fully or partially using FanMaker stored value.
  • Discounts will also be reported accurately if the customer uses a combination of stored value and another payment method (e.g., credit card, cash).
  • All discounts applied at checkout are now properly logged and reflected in your system reports.

Generic Configuration for Wallet Discount and Redemption (FANMAKER)

Introduced two new POS configuration flags to control access to wallet-related features in FANMAKER:

  • ENABLE_WALLET_DISCOUNT: Toggles the availability of wallet-based discounts.
  • ENABLE_WALLET_REDEMPTION: Controls whether customers can redeem wallet balances during checkout.

These settings are enabled by default to maintain existing behavior, offering merchants the flexibility to manage wallet features as needed. Users can enable or disable this from the console under store configuration. Currently applicable only to FANMAKER integrations.

Note: It's not allowed to refund more than the original amount used in the transactions.
