Define Price Books: First, you create the price books that contain the pricing information for your products or services. Each price book represents a specific set of prices. To do this Navigate to Settings --> Club Pricing.
Enable Advanced Mapping on Locations: Once you have defined your price books and their date ranges, you can map them to specific locations. (Venue or Store). This allows you to assign different pricing based on the location and the corresponding time period.
For each price book, you can specify the date range during which it should be applicable. For example, you might have one price book for the summer season and another for the winter season.
When a customer interacts with your system or visits a specific location, the system automatically determines the applicable price book based on the current date and location. This ensures that the customer is presented with the correct prices based on the predefined time-based rules.
As time progresses, the system automatically switches to the appropriate price book as per the specified date ranges. This can be particularly useful when you have pricing changes that need to occur automatically without manual intervention.
By leveraging advanced mapping with time-based price books, businesses can effectively manage pricing strategies that vary over time and across different locations.
