Operation Time is the designated working hours of a business that are set up within the system. It allows a business to define and manage its operational hours, which are typically the times when the business is open and available for conducting operations, serving customers, and handling transactions.
Login to Console
Go to Settings → General Settings → Company → Operation Time
Configuration of Working Hours: This enables businesses to specify their operational hours, indicating when they start and end each day. For instance, a business might set its operation time from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, indicating that it operates within these hours.
Default Values: When Operation Time is initially set up, default values are pre-defined. The default values are set from 12:00 am (midnight) to 11:59:59 pm (just before midnight) by default. This signifies a 24-hour operational period unless specified otherwise.
Impact on Reports: The Operation Time settings affect the generation of reports within the business. Any reports generated on the Console portal or Point of Sale (POS) system will consider the specified operational hours by default. This means that sales, transactions, or any data compiled in reports will reflect activities occurring within the defined operational time frame.
All inventory operations, grids, and reports will now respect the configured operation start and end times.
For example, if your operational day starts at 6:00 AM, any operation performed between 6:00 AM today and 5:59 AM the next day will be grouped together as part of the same operational day, ensuring more accurate reporting and data tracking.
Reset to Default: The "Reset to Default" button allows the user or administrator to revert the configured operational hours back to the default settings. This action is helpful if there's a need to restore the original default working hours or to undo any changes made previously.
On ZeroPOS the operation time is displayed under System Reports
