The Validate Tags feature in i360 Pro is designed to assist merchants in verifying that product tags provided by vendors are properly tagged and can be decoded. Ensuring that these tags are accurate is critical to maintaining correct inventory data, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring smooth product handling throughout the store.
Merchants will use this feature to confirm that RFID tags are functioning as expected upon receipt of new stock. The tool allows users to adjust the antenna range for optimal detection, ensuring flexibility in various product setups. Once the validation process is completed, the system automatically resets the antenna range to its default settings, providing a hassle-free experience without the need for manual adjustments afterward.
Features Overview
Start Scanning
This option allows merchants to begin the tag validation process. To begin validating the tags on newly received products, merchants can use the trigger on the connected scanner or they can press the 'Play button'.
The system will display results as valid or invalid tags based on whether the tags are readable and meet the required standards.
Set Antenna Range
Allows merchants to adjust the range (in dB) of the antenna used for scanning tags. Adjusting the range is helpful for tuning the scanner's sensitivity, depending on the environment or distance of the tags.
Merchants can enter the desired range in the provided field and click "Apply" to set the new range for the antenna.
If merchants want to reset the antenna range to the system default, they can click the "Reset" button. Once the user leaves the validation screen, the range will automatically revert to the default setting.
Valid Tags Count
Displays the total number of valid tags that have been scanned during the validation process.
Merchants can easily track how many tags from the received products have been successfully validated. The counter updates in real-time as tags are scanned.
Invalid Tags Count
Displays the total number of invalid tags that have been detected during the validation process. Invalid tags indicate that the tags could not be decoded.
Export: The details can be exported for both valid and invalid tags as XSLX file format
