We’ve introduced a new feature to enhance your RFID Kiosk experience — verified refunds with supervisor override! This update makes it easier to handle both full and partial refunds securely and efficiently. Let’s walk through the details.


What Is the Verified Refund Feature?

With this feature, your RFID Kiosk now supports verified refunds through supervisor approval. This ensures that returns are authorized and managed correctly, helping you maintain control over your transactions.

Key Features:

  • Full Cart Verified Refund:

    • Customers can return all items from a transaction for a complete refund.
  • Partial Verified Refund:

    • Customers can return specific items from a transaction while keeping the rest.
  • Supervisor Override:

    • Refund options are accessible only through supervisor login, adding an extra layer of security.
  • Manual Item Management:

    • Items are not added via RFID on the refund screen — instead, they are selected manually to ensure accuracy.

User Flow:

  1. Accessing the Refund Screen:

    • Users can Scan the receipt to trigger the refund process
  2. Supervisor Verification:

    • A supervisor logs in to authorize the refund process.
  3. Choosing Refund Type:

    • The user chooses either a Full Refund or Partial Refund.
  4. Selecting Items (For Partial Refunds):

    • Manually select the items to be refunded (RFID scanning is disabled on the refund screen).
  5. Processing the Refund:

    • The refund is processed, and the amount is returned to the customer.
