The KIOSK supports event integration, allowing it to retrieve and display events directly from the Console. This feature helps supervisors seamlessly manage event-specific transactions, ensuring that items and promotions align with the active event of the day.
Event Tab in Supervisor Mode
- A dedicated Event Tab is available at the top of the Transaction Cart Screen in Supervisor Mode.
- The tab automatically displays the event scheduled for the day, just like in Zero/6IX/Servio apps.
- Supervisors can override the default event by selecting a new one using the ‘E’ symbol on the transaction screen.
Selecting an Event
- Clicking the ‘E’ symbol will display a list of available events, including:
- Event Name
- Start Date/Time
- End Date/Time
- The selected event remains active until the event ends or the supervisor manually updates it.
- Event information remains synchronized with the console, ensuring up-to-date details.
Resetting an Event
- Clicking the ‘E’ symbol will display a list of available events along with a button "Reset Event".
- Clicking on Reset Event will reset the event we have selected. User can select the event again by clicking on 'E'.
If an OnTour event is created without selecting specific stores, but a venue is attached, the event will be visible to all stores under that venue. If the event includes specific store selections, the event will only appear on the selected stores’ POS systems.
