A RFID self-checkout kiosk is a self-service checkout system that uses radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to automatically detect and tally the items a customer wants to purchase.

The RFID self-checkout kiosk offers a fast and convenient way to complete your purchase using advanced RFID technology.

Key Features

• Place items in the designated basket or bin on the kiosk.
• RFID tags on the items are automatically detected and tallied by the system.
• The kiosk calculates the total cost, and you can complete your purchase through the self-checkout interface.

This innovative solution eliminates the need for traditional staffed checkout lanes, providing a quicker and more seamless shopping experience.

Login Process

To access the self-checkout features, merchants must log in with their account details. Enter the following information:

• Username
• Password
• Domain
• Register ID

Click "Connect" to log in.

Once logged in, simply place your items in the basket or bin. The RFID system will automatically detect and tally your items, enabling you to complete your purchase effortlessly.

Supervisor Login Process

Supervisors can access advanced functionalities on the RFID self-checkout kiosk by logging in through the "Login as Supervisor" option.

Login Options:

1. Login Using PIN:

   • Supervisors can log in using a PIN that ranges from 4 to 20 digits, offering more flexibility compared to the previous system, which supported only 4-digit PINs.
   • Alternatively, supervisors can log in by scanning a QR code or barcode containing their PIN details. Once scanned, the kiosk will prompt for confirmation to complete the login process.

   Note: The system accepts PINs within the specified range without errors and allows seamless access to Supervisor functionalities.
   

2. Login Using Password:

   • Enter your Username and Password to log in and access the kiosk's supervisor features.
     
3. Login Using QR Code: Users can log in instantly by scanning their PIN-encoded QR code instead of manually entering the PIN.
   

   - Generate a QR Code containing your 4-digit PIN.

   - Navigate to the Supervisor Login Screen on the KIOSK-Self Checkout.

   - Scan the QR Code when prompted.

   - Upon successful scanning, the system authenticates your PIN and logs you in instantly.

   

Supervisor Functionalities:

Once logged in, supervisors can perform the following tasks:

• Settings Management: Adjust kiosk settings as needed.
• Discount Handling: Apply or manage discounts for transactions.
• Receipt Reprints: Reprint receipts for past transactions.
• Refunds: Process refunds using any tender available on the kiosk.
• End-of-Day Reports:
  • Access and manage Batch Reports.
  • Generate and print the DSR (Daily Sales Report) for a complete summary of daily transactions.

This enhanced login process ensures that supervisors have secure and efficient access to manage kiosk operations with ease.
