The enhanced 4-level hierarchy within Quickpick Collections and Sub Collections allows for a more detailed and structured organization of products in quick pick. This hierarchical approach facilitates efficient categorization, making it easier for users to navigate and access specific items or attributes within the Quickpick.
Quickpick Organization with 4-Level Hierarchy
We can have a menu tab with Items, Attributes, products, and Collections that further group the Collections into Sub collections.
- A menu tab can have multiple Items/Attributes/Classifications/Products/Collections.
- A Collection tab can have multiple Sub Collections, multiple Items/Attributes/Classifications
- A Sub Collection tab can have multiple Items/Attributes/Classifications
How to Add a Collection?
Create and manage collections containing sub-collections with items and attributes. Collections can be assigned to quick pick menus to further customize and organize your menus.
Login to Console
Go to Settings → General Settings → QuickPicks → Collections
Click on the ' ➕ ' sign under the Collection tab.
Name: Enter a name for the Collection.
Color: Select a color for the Collection from inbuilt colors. Users can customize the color needed.
Sequence Number: Select the sequence order for the Collection.
Uploading Collection Images:
Note: We’ve introduced image upload capabilities for Collections, Sub-collections, and Attributes (excluding Size Bricks) to help merchants present visually appealing interfaces in POS.
While creating or editing a Collection:
- You’ll now see a "Collection Image" section.
- Upload an image directly from your device.
- You can also remove or change the image anytime.
Once saved, the image is linked to that Collection and will appear in the POS Quick Picks interface.
You can add any number of the below 3 into a Collection
- Items
- Attributes
- Subcollections
➕ Add Items/Attribute
Item-wise and Attribute-wise products will be listed. The Add Item tab displays the entire item list whereas The ‘Add Attribute’ tab displays items by Department, Category, Sub Category, Brand, Color, Size, and Season. You can also search for the items in the search field provided.
- Select the products from the list for the QuickPick
- Click ‘Add’.
➕ Sub Collection
Click on the ➕ Sub Collection button and enter the Sub Collection Name.
Hit Save.
Name: Enter a name for the Sub-Collection.
Sequence Number: Select the sequence order for the Sub-Collection.
Uploading Sub-collection Images: When adding or editing a Sub-collection:
- You’ll see a similar option labeled "Sub-collection Image".
- The image functionality is identical to Collection image uploads.
Images for Sub-collections will be shown under their respective Collections in the POS interface.
You can add any number of Items/Attributes into a Sub-Collection.
Attaching a Collection to a Quickpick
Go to Settings → General Settings → QuickPicks → QuickPick Menu
- Select the Menu
- Navigate to the QuickPick tab.
- Click on the ' ➕ ' sign under the QuickPick button.
- Go to the Add Collection tab. You can also search for the items in the search field provided.
- Select the collection from the list for the QuickPick
- Click ‘Add’.
Adding a Collection will automatically add the Sub Collection attached to it.
