Reprints and Refunds in Receipts

Kiosk system offers a convenient way for supervisors to manage customer transactions, including the ability to reprint receipts and process refunds. This article outlines the functionalities available in supervisor mode for handling past transactions.

In supervisor mode, you can access the "Receipts" option on the Kiosk. This feature displays a list of past transactions made by users, including:

Transaction Number
Date and Time
Payment Method
Total Amount Paid

By selecting a specific transaction, a pop-up titled "Reprint or Refund" will appear, providing options for reprinting the receipt or processing a refund.

Reprint Receipt

The "Reprint Receipt" function allows supervisors to generate a duplicate of the original receipt for customers. To reprint a receipt:

Log in to the Kiosk as a supervisor.
Select the desired transaction from the list.
Click on "Reprint Receipt."
A view of the receipt will be displayed, along with options to Cancel or Print Receipt.

This feature ensures that customers can easily obtain a copy of their transaction for their records.

Refund Transactions

Our Kiosk also supports refund functionalities, allowing supervisors to process both full and partial refunds under verified conditions. The following refund options are available:

Full Item Refund

Supervisors can initiate a full refund for all items in a transaction, allowing customers to return everything purchased.

Partial Item Refund

This option enables customers to return specific items from their transaction while keeping others.

Supervisor Override

To ensure secure and verified returns, all refund processes require supervisor login access. This includes:

Verification of transactions before processing refunds.
Access to both full and partial refund options.

Please be aware that items are not added via RFID (EXO) in refund screen

The Receipt Printed via RFID Kiosk now has a functional barcode which can help users to initiate refunds quickly
