Using a USB Bump Bar with the KDS

Each button on the kitchen display has a mapping on the bump bar.

The buttons correspond to various key on the bump bar. 

If an order has been completed, pressing this number on the bump bar will hide this order.

The other buttons have the following functions:

 

BUMP will hide/clear the finished order tickets from the kitchen screen.

 

RECALL will recall completed tickets if they accidentally completed the ticket or need to remake an item on a ticket.

 

SUM will open or close the summary pane.

 

PAGE will navigate the user back to the main page.

 

UP ARROW will navigate to the next order.

 

DOWN ARROW  will navigate to the previous order.

 

These bump bar buttons can be mapped to any actions on KDS under Settings --> Customize Buttons
