How to Update Order Status?

Order status can be set to let other kitchen staff or food runners know the cooking progress.

To update the stusus of an order:

  1. Navigate to the bottom of the order and locate the Actions (3 dots)
  2. Click on the 3 dots to view more options.
  3. Tap on the Change Status option to automatically update the cooking status as follows:
    •  INITIATED – This means the item does not start cooking.
    • PROCESSING – This means the item is cooking or preparing to serve the customer.
    • READY – This means the item is ready to serve the customer.
    • DELIVERED – This means the item is delivered to serve the customer.
  4. Delivered orders will automatically move to Closed Tickets tab.
