The Register feature allows administrators to manage registers associated with specific stores. This includes the ability to create new registers, associate them with a store/location, terminate unused registers, and manage multiple register types.
Settings → General → Register
View all active registers in the system in a grid displaying details such as:
- Register Name: The name of the register.
- Store/Location: The store or location the register is associated with.
- Type: Type of register uses (Android POS, Web, Display).
Users can view a list of all active registers.
Add New Register
Allows users to create a new register and associate it with a store and type.
- Register Name (Text, required): The name of the register.
- Store/Location (Dropdown, required): A dropdown to select the store or location where the register will be associated.
- Type (Dropdown, required): A dropdown to select the type of app associated with the register. Supported types: Android POS, Web, Invoice, Display
Once created, the register will appear in the active registers grid.
Terminate Register: Allows users to terminate a register that is no longer in use. Users can terminate any active register by selecting it from the grid and clicking the Terminate button. A confirmation prompt will appear to verify the termination request. Once terminated, the register will no longer appear in the active registers grid and will be marked as inactive in the system.
