Item Category

Navigate to Menu --> Item Category

Create multiple item categories here. If your restaurant offers age-restricted products you can create a separate category for that and enable the ID Verification for that particular category. Once the flag is set, every item in that category will prompt with the message in the Tikt app to confirm the age before placing the order.

Creating an Item Category

1. Navigate to Menu --> Item Category
2. Click on Add Item Category button 
3. Enter a name for the category.

4. Enable ID verification, if required to halt the submission to the kitchen printer until ID has been checked.

5. Hit Save

Editing an Item Category

1. Navigate to Menu --> Item Category
2. Click on the Edit button near the Item Category
3. Make the required changes and hit Save.

Inactivating an Item Category

1. Navigate to Menu --> Item Category
2. Click on the Edit button near the Item Category
3. Toggle Off the Activate Item category to inactivate the selected item category.
